Old Spice New Marketing

Fast Company have interviewed the team behind the fantastic Old Spice campaign – this is brilliant, and definitely going down as one of my favourite ever.

The legendary revival of the Old Spice brand and products through the Isaiah Mustafa you tube videos would have to be one of the best this side of the turn of the century.

The difference between bit.ly and Google Analytics metrics

VS  Google Analytics

Simply put bit.ly records every single ‘click’ be it by human or bot or alien. Google Analytics records ‘human behaviour’ so you gain an accurate insight into the real interaction of your site.

Quick SEO Tip: How many back links do I have?

Such a quick and easy way to discover how many back links & mentions you have to your site.
I was amazed to discover I’ve got links from the Philippines to the USA and all the way down to south to Melbourne again.

Here’s how to learn how many back links to my website.

1. Visit Google
2. Enter in the search field: link http://www.yoursite.com & search
3. Visit Yahoo
4. Enter in the search field: linkdomain http://www.yoursite.com & search

Yahoooo! how cool is that! Both engines do give slightly different information but both are useful, so off you go and be sure to come back and let me know how you went.
