Personally, I love figuring out how things work, exploring frontiers, and experiencing beautiful design, and I genuinely enjoy seeing people amaze themselves. 

Professionally, I'm a Business Agility leader with a passion for helping people in business grow outcomes through strategy, innovation & operating agility.

My family tribe is known as 'Third Culture Kids' - we've grown up around the world in places other than our passport nation. Being among diverse cultures, languages and environments left an indelible curiousity in my thinking. Professionally, my career has been faithful to my nature - a genuine appreciation for the unique brilliance of people and a passion for innovating the frontiers of performance in business.

Initially out of Uni, I started my first business - a boutique Design and advertising consultancy. It didn't go global but did produce a few good brands, a McDonald's Happy Meal Pack and even a men's movement magazine. The biggest takeaway was understanding what it takes to make a dollar: purpose, people, passion, perseverance, excellent products, and never-ending performance growth.

With the onset of rapid technological innovation, I soon learnt that your business needs to be able to pivot to stay ahead of the innovation wave and competitors' pace. Moving from owning a business to being part of the Internet revolution to rapidly growing digital ventures sharpened my ability to lead teams smartly so that we succinctly delivered outcomes on outcomes to shift market standards. 

From leading REA Group technical integration of the UK acquisition and being part of their early dominant growth to being Head of Product and tech for the Venture Capital team that launched and grew Artshub.com.au and ListGloabally.com, was a fantastic experience in Blue Ocean Strategies, teamwork, authentic leadership of large valuable programs and innovative learning operating strategies.

This early stage of my career laid the foundation for sharing my learnings through my next business, Authentika Agile. Fortunately, the Agile operating movement was also evolving its principles, practices and educational platforms. Their frameworks, language and certifications, combined with my proven experience and an insatiable appetite to explore more frontiers and innovate performance, helped good people grow their professional skills and leadership capabilities to make an impact on revenue growth and operating savings in businesses like Internode, Telstra, Juwai.com, CBA Group and Seek.com.au.

From a consulting business to leading enterprise business teams prior to and through the COVID pandemic has expanded my toolkit to include enterprise operating strategy, operating design, executive leadership, financial governance and complex cultural environments.

Regardless of the magnitude of the business, the complexity of the problems and the culture of the organisation, every professional, every leader and every business share the need to continuously learn and grow performance.
